Q: In WIPO Sequence I have named my sequences but the name does not appear anywhere in the Sequence listing. Is it possible to display the Sequence name in the Sequence listing?

In WIPO Sequence Tool, "Sequence Names" appearing in your Sequence Listing are not part of the Standard ST.26 and it's just for your reference,  to make it easier to distinguish this sequence in the system, but this information is not exported into the generated XML file.

When importing an ST.25 file into WIPO Sequence, the system sets the Sequence Name of this sequence as follows: sequenceName = <importedFileName>_seq_<seqId>, where importedFileName is the name of the ST.25 file being imported and seqId is the value of the data element 210 of the imported sequence. So, for example, if SEQ ID NO: 7 from the ST.25 file ‘abc.txt’ has been imported, the automatically generated sequence name is ‘abc_seq_7’.
