In order to enhance communication among members of each Task Force, please note the following guidelines:
Initial Configuration
Edit Profile
- Change your details and initial password which the International Bureau provides
- Change the way you are notified of updates via email and your default home page and language
To edit Profile, click on your account in the top right-hand corner of page.
Set Watches
- If you want to be notified by email of the changes to a page, news item or even an entire space, you can do so by setting Watches.
- To set Watches for this entire Space:
Click on Browse in the top right corner of page, select Advanced, go to Subscribe and choose "Start watching this space". Entire Space Watches should be set for receiving notification by email when the Space is updated with proposals, comments or news.
- To set Watches for a specific page:
If you are not interested in all subjects discussed in this Space and want to receive a notification regarding a specific subject, you should set Watches for each page dealing with the subject you are interested in instead of entire Space. First, you should stop watching this Space in the Subscribe and then set Watches for the page by clicking Watch under "Tools" in the top right-hand corner of page.
Subscribe RSS Feeds
- Subscription to RSS feeds is another way to be notified of new or updated content within the Space. You will need an RSS client or RSS-enabled web browser to get notification. To subscribe to RSS Feeds, click on Browse in the top right-hand corner of page and select Advanced, and then choose RSS Feeds under "Subscribe".
Comment
- One page includes one subject (proposal) and multiple comments.
- "Comment" or "Reply" should be provided only to the proposals or comments which are under discussion. Do not comment on the completed discussion or other pages, e.g., Home Page. Ongoing discussions are available under the page of "Ongoing Discussions by Task Force" of which link is in the top right-hand corner of Space Home Page.
- The attachments to the proposal or comments should be posted separately in the attachment section of the page. Each attachment should have a unique filename and description of the file. The hyperlink to the attachment should be given in the text of the proposal or comments.
Permission
- Task Force members have permission to view pages, add comments and upload attachments.
- Task Force Leader has additional permission to create a new page for starting the discussion and to provide news concerning any activity related to the Task Force.
Deletion
- Any removal of posted information should be requested of the International Bureau.
