The number of design applications via the national route exceeded the previous year’s number by 35% and the number of designs included therein by 27%. The increase in the stock of pending cases can be attributed to a lack of capacity within the Office.
The number of Community design applications, the territorial scope of which extends also to Hungary, exceeded 24 thousand and the designs included therein exceeded 90 thousand.
