The expression "industrial designs" covers industrial designs and models. Offices which issue design patents should report their design patent information activities in this series of Annual Technical Reports.
There are plans to facilitate public access to relevant information through the Office's website.
Today free search is available for the public using a public computer stationed at the Israel Patent office (ILPO). A Search Engine is scheduled to be added to the Office's website by the end of 2014.
Additionally it is planned during 2015 to allow electronic filing of applications for registration.
In 2012 1555 applications were filed and 636 applications were registered.
In 2013 1361 applications were filed and 702 applications were registered.
Statistics related to Industrial designs are available in the Israel Patent Office Annual Report:

The Office uses a national classification system to classify industrial design applications.
In June 2013 a new Israeli Designs Classification of Goods has entered into force. The new classification is quite similar to the Locarno classification.
The main difference between the national classification system and the International Locarno Classification system is that the national system does not use class 32 - GRAPHIC SYMBOLS AND LOGOS, SURFACE PATTERNS, ORNAMENTATION.

As mentioned above, as of today, electronic searching of the databases is available to the public at the ILPO offices only. The design database will be available on the ILPO internet website by the end of 2014.
The ILPO publish information on industrial designs in the Patents and Designs Journal, which appears on a monthly basis. The journal contains only bibliographical information on industrial designs accepted for registration, information about renewals and registrations cancelled.
Images of designs are not published in the Journal. The Patent and Design Journal is available here:
