About WIPO GREEN

WIPO GREEN is an interactive marketplace that promotes innovation and diffusion of green technologies by connecting technology and service providers with those seeking innovative solutions.

WIPO is the global forum for intellectual property services, policy, information and cooperation. Our mission is to lead the development of a balanced and effective international intellectual property (IP) system that enables innovation and creativity for the benefit of all. WIPO GREEN is a specialized platform administered by WIPO.

WIPO GREEN consists of an online database and network that brings together a wide range of players in the green technology innovation value chain, and connects owners of new technologies with individuals or companies looking to commercialize, license or otherwise access or distribute a green technology.

WIPO GREEN is unique because it assembles in one place technologies at all stages of development, from upstream research to marketable products (and everything in between). These technologies are available for license, collaboration, joint ventures and sale.

WIPO GREEN’s objective is to become a go-to platform for green technologies, which it is on the way to achieving thanks to its growing network of partners and innovative collaborations with major global technology databases.
