The Patent Act, 2016 has been drafted complying the WIPO standards and it is in final stage for enactment. After completing the new Patents Law we can take strategy to implement the standard.

Aunque ya no es una práctica el uso de CD-ROM o DVDS como medio de intercambio, se mantiene la producción utilizando la Norma ST.40, lo cual permite su disponibilidad para uso interno para proporcionar servicios de impresión documental y auxiliar en una búsqueda eficaz de documentación presentada ante el IMPI desde al año 1997. Asimismo, con este medio se tiene tarifado el producto para suscripciones anuales en caso de que alguna empresa Particular esté interesada en enriquecer sus propias bases de datos con esta información o mantener el formato como tal para sus bibliotecas de consulta.
