The search interface is bellow:

Select number type:

On your left, you have the drop down menu to select if you want to do a search for "Application Number" or by "Publication Number":

File identification field:

The text field on your right, is where you will have to type the "file identification" (application/publication number) of the file you would want to search for:

1. When you start typing a number, the UI will try to validate the format, in order to have a better match with the numbers recording in the system for each providing IP Office:
   1. Image Removed
2. In this example:
   1.  the system will check the country code you are entering
   2.  provide a sample of numbers for the type of search (application or publication), so you can have a guide on how to enter the file number
      1.  in this case Image Removed
   3. It will also start to generate a list of possible results, based on your previous searches and the information you are entering in the field:
