The Patent Act, 2016 has been drafted complying the WIPO standards and it is in final stage for enactment. After completing the new patents law we can take strategy to implement the standard.

our office do apply st.3 with considreation to apply st.6 and st.16 in the future. As for st.2 we only use Arabic numbers

En El Salvador, a partir de la implementación de los sistemas automatizados (1988) estandarizamos alguna información sin saber sobre el tema de las normas, luego ya se han utilizado conscientemente según las necesidades que han ido surgiendo, como por ejemplo el intercambio de información por medio de Latipat
