I. GENERAL OVERVIEW OF RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN TRADEMARK INFORMATION ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE
The Egyptian Trademarks office recently has various projects related to IP systems and services, most of these projects running or planned to be deployed in cooperation with WIPO Industrial Property Office Business Solutions Division (IPOBSD), while other projects running or planned to be established under Egyptian Ministry of Internal Trade development policies;
The office recently has launched IPAS system which has been deployed in last quarter of 2015 in cooperate with WIPO to ease processing the business transactions record and execution.
The office recently has used WIPO Publish system which has been deployed in last quarter of 2015 in cooperate with WIPO to perform automatic data extraction and upload to WIPO Global Brand database

Total filing of trademarks in 2015 in comparative with 2014: 19625 (2015) – 19257 (2014)
Total registered trademarks in 2015 in comparative with 2014: 8335 (2015) – 14121 (2014)
II. SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO TRADEMARK INFORMATION CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE
The Egyptian office was among of the first offices that publishing registered marks on WIPO Global Brand page since 2013
The office publishing online accepted trademarks through monthly gazette 3 years ago on the office site at: http://itda.gov.eg/TIDM/TIDM.aspx
III. SOURCES OF TRADEMARK INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE OFFICE
The office publishing online accepted trademarks, including information for mark logo, mark words, Niece class and goods/services, filing date, owner and representative

IV. ICT SUPPORT TO SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO TRADEMARK INFORMATION CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICE

The office holds training sessions to students from various Egyptian universities
The office organizing many workshops aiming to spread IP knowledge for stakeholders
VI. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF TRADEMARK INFORMATION
The office shares registered marks information at the WIPO Global Brand database at: http://www.wipo.int/branddb/en
The office Participate in most of the international and regional activities and projects related to trademark field
