The International Bureau has identified an initial set of issues and requirements, further outlined in document PCT/EF/TPTF/1/3, that need to be addressed in moving forward towards a complete full text-processing infrastructure. They are grouped under three main initiatives listed below:
- (A) Growing full text format filing volumes through customer experience improvements
- (B) Common functionality across Offices for the processing of international applications in full text format
- (C) Delivering confidence in filing certainty through coordinated legal provisions
For each of these initiatives the International Bureau has identified and grouped topics for discussion. The aim is to discuss these topics and any topics identified by the Task Force with the aim of determining concreate actions to implement changes leaving to more widespread use of full text formats in filing applications. Each topic has a page in this site and will be updated as we progress.
