Sí se tiene previsto y se está en proceso de preparar un sistema adecuado de digitalización para la aplicación de ROC. Actualmente se producen documentos en formato TIFF plano, en formato TIFF con estándar ST.33 y PDF indizado (Norma EPO ST.1.4). En conformidad a un Acuerdo entre el IMPI y la OMPI, a los documentos enviados en PDF se les ha aplicado ROC y se nos proporcioaron los archivos en XML del FullText por un período de publicaciones de los años 1992 a 2012.
