WIPO GREEN at G-STIC 2018

November 2, 2018

WIPO GREEN will take part in an Expert Panel Discussion on “Improving content quality of sustainable technology databases” at this year’s Global Sustainable Technology & Innovation Conference (G-STIC 2018), in Brussels, Belgium.  The panel will explore various issues around content quality with the aim of identifying concrete ways to improve the functioning of databases and their overall impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They will consider how database entries are accepted (or rejected); what kinds of review and selection processes are used; what kinds of methods determine validity and credibility of the entries; and any lessons learned on improving the database content.

The Expert Panel Discussion will kick off at 9:00AM on day 3 of the conference: November 30, 2018.

G-STIC seeks to bring together a multiplicity of actors with the goal of advancing the SDGs.
