Workshop: Intellectual Property for Cleantech Companies

On February 10, 2020, WIPO GREEN will co-facilitate a workshop for green technology companies during the GLOBE 2020 business summit in Vancouver, Canada.

The workshop, organized in collaboration with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), will address the role of intellectual property (IP) in cleantech business and the benefits it can offer to companies developing climate-friendly technologies. The workshop facilitators, Mr. Peter Oksen, Senior Programme Officer at WIPO GREEN, and Mr. Jeffrey Orser, Services to Business Director at CIPO, will address common IP challenges facing cleantech innovators and the strategies to secure IP rights.
