Bluetech Award: Deadline Extended to December 31, 2020

WIPO GREEN partner Bluetech Clean Air Alliance (BCAA) invites clean-air innovators from around the world to apply for its sixth annual Bluetech Award.
BCAA, an active WIPO GREEN partner, recently launched its annual Bluetech Award campaign. The initiative aims to support developers of clean-air technologies, with the goal of helping to address air pollution in China and the world.
About the Bluetech Award 2020
Applicants with innovations in the following categories are invited to apply for this year’s competition:
- Diesel engine emission reduction technologies and clean energy substitutes;
- Coal combustion emission control and clean energy substitutes (non-power sector);
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) substitution and pollution prevention;
- Indoor air pollution control;
- Advanced pollution source and air quality monitoring;
- Innovative waste incineration emission control.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to introduce their innovations to government representatives, corporations, investors and other major stakeholders in China’s fast-growing market for clean air technologies. They will also engage with local partners and experts across China to encourage the transfer and implementation of the selected clean air technologies, with the overarching goal to support the implementation of China’s clean air policies and measures.

The Bluetech Future Unicorn Competition
In addition, the sixth annual Bluetech Award includes the Bluetech Future Unicorn Competition, open to companies and individual inventors with innovative ideas in clean-air technology. The goal of this competition is to contribute to the development of green technologies in China.
