The 4th edition of the forest and wood innovation forum is being organized by WIPO GREEN partner Leonhard Ventures and is focused on innovative forest, timber and wood technologies.
Wood is an incredibly important material that is being used to combat climate change as it stores carbon in wood products, preventing it from being released into the atmosphere. When wood products are made using timber sourced from sustainably managed forests instead of natural forests, it plays a significant role to reduce deforestation.
Topics like this and others around how to become a player in the circular economy and what investors look for in this industry will be addressed.
