WIPO GREEN will participate in the upcoming Trilateral Symposium on IP & Environmental Issues hosted by the Japan Patent Office (JPO), and co-hosted by the European Patent Office (EPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The session will feature a keynote address from WIPO’s Director General, Mr. Daren Tang and be moderated by Mr. Edward Kwakwa, Assistant Director General of WIPO’s Global Challenges and Partnerships Sector. It will also bring together high-level industry players, and the trilateral offices – JPO, EPO, and the USPTO to discuss the contribution that the patent system makes towards the goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions.
