UN Sustainable Development Goals and 2023 SDG Summit

The recognition comes as part of the 2023 SDG Summit, hosted prior to the United Nations General Assembly on September 18-19 in New York and magnifies the essential role that IP and innovation play in solving urgent global sustainability issues.

The SDGs are a set of 17 global objectives adopted by the UN in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Aimed to be achieved by 2030, these goals address social, economic, and environmental challenges such as poverty, hunger, health, and climate action.
