The Special EXPO25 Edition of the Green Technology Book will be launched on 4 October 2025 at the EXPO 2025 International Forum on the “Promotion of Intellectual Property Utilization for the Sustainable Development Goals” in Osaka, Japan.

Distinguished participants, including Mr. Daren Tang, WIPO Director General, and Mr. KASAI Yasuyuki, Commissioner of Japan Patent Office (JPO) will be present at the event hosted by the Japan Patent Office.

Building on many innovative technology areas, this new special edition highlights practical and scalable energy solutions in the Asia-Pacific region and was created to serve as a useful tool for anyone interested in green technologies available on the market.

The forum will provide a platform to discuss new trends and innovative approaches toward climate solutions enabled by intellectual property rights. It will showcase successful environmental technology transfers, including those facilitated through WIPO GREEN, while exploring how to further enhance the role of women and youth within the IP ecosystem. Moreover, a JPO-WIPO Ceremony will be held to recognize companies that harness IP to create a more sustainable future.
