In Belém, WIPO GREEN will launch the fourth edition of its flagship Green Technology Book, dedicated to one of our most urgent global challenges: confronting climate disasters.
The event will take place on 10 November, at 16:45 (Zone C, Side Event Room 5).
The Green Technology Book: Solutions for Confronting Climate Disasters highlights how innovation is transforming the way societies prepare for, respond to, and recover from climate-driven crises. From AI-driven forecasting to modular shelters and resilient infrastructure— it showcases both cutting-edge and practical solutions that are redefining global disaster risk management. At its core, the book illustrates the transformative power of innovation, enabled by an effective intellectual property system, which can accelerate the positive response to the diverse challenges societies face.
The COP launch event will bring together UN agencies and partners involved in technology, innovation, climate change and disaster response. Together, they will highlight how solutions have been deployed for climate disaster preparedness and response.
