WIPO GREEN at 22nd UNFCCC Conference of Parties (COP 22)

As with COP 21 in Paris, WIPO GREEN will be cooperating with the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC) and the French Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle (INPI) on events at the upcoming COP 22 in Marrakesh. Among these is an exhibition featuring green tech innovations developed by Africa-focused SMEs.

Results of the competitive selection process to identify SMEs to be sponsored to participate in this exhibition will be announced on the WIPO GREEN website in September 2016.

In addition to this, WIPO GREEN will also be participating in three roundtables, one of which it will host:

  • (1) Agriculture and Water – hosted by WIPO GREEN (November 11) Roundtable flyer: SME innovation and tech transfer in the agriculture and water sectors;
  • (2) Consolidated economy – hosted by INPI France (November 10);
  • (3) Renewable energy – hosted by OMPIC (November 11).
