Green Technology Book: Call for Climate Change Mitigation Technologies

Do you have a sustainable technology you would like to feature in WIPO’s Flagship publication the Green Technology Book? This year’s edition is already in the making with the expected launch in December at UNFCCC COP28 in Dubai. It will focus on climate change mitigation technologies, with thematic areas around Industry, Agriculture & Forestry and Cities. These represent some of the most innovation-critical sectors for reaching the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Getting listed in the new edition of the Green Technology Book
Once you have submitted your climate change mitigation technology, it will be reviewed according to our selection criteria and added to the WIPO GREEN database. Then we identify the most promising green technologies for publication in the Green Technology Book.
All eligible sustainable technologies will be visible in the WIPO GREEN global database of innovative technologies and needs. Featuring your technology in the database makes it visible to potential partners and investors and can be matched with identified challenges. We are also continuously collecting adaptation technologies to be added to the adaptation edition in the database – no costs are involved!

About the Green Technology Book
In November 2022 at COP27, WIPO introduced its new Flagship publication the Green Technology Book. This digital-first publication aims to put innovation, technology and intellectual property at the forefront in the fight against climate change. The inaugural edition of this annual publication focused on available solutions for climate-change adaptation to reduce vulnerability as well as to increase resilience to the impacts of climate change. The book was created in cooperation with the Climate Technology Center and Network (CTCN) and the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASTR). It features 200 adaptation technologies, which are also available in the WIPO GREEN database of innovative technologies and needs.
